In a grim future, Alex, a sadistic and volatile leader of a gang of ultra-violent teens, terrorizes society with acts of theft, assault, and worse. When the law finally catches up with him, Alex is offered a chance to reduce his sentence by participating in a controversial government program designed to suppress criminal tendencies and address societal violence. As a test subject, Alex undergoes experimental treatments that strip him of his ability to respond to aggression.
